Hotel Valamar Riviera is open in spring 2010. It is a nice and cosy hotel, conveniently located at Porec seaside promenade. Hotel overlooks the town yacht harbor and St. Nicolas Island. It is located at the most beautiful part of the old town Porec, by the sea, amidst nice restaurants and bars. Hotel is just steps away from Old town Porec Main Street. In Frank’s opinion, Hotel Valamar Rivier is by far the best Porec hotel for couples. It is perfectly located if you love summer hustle and bustle of the seaside town.

Hotel Valamar Riviera consists of the two buildings: main hotel building and residence Parentino. Residence is located 50 m from the main building. All the interiors are beautifully decorated in marine style. The entire hotel is very clean and well maintained. Hotel staff are very forthcoming, available, kind, very well trained and always ready to assist.
Hotel Valamar Riviera has 105 rooms in the main building and 8 luxury suites in the residence Parentino, separate building located 50 m from the main building. There are rooms with a sea view and town view. Very few rooms have a balcony. All the rooms featuring a balcony are on the seaside. There are few suites overlooking the sea. Some suites have a balcony. Rooms are not large but well decorated and spotlessly clean. The rooms are equipped with all you need for a comfy stay. Kettle, tea & coffee, mini bar, sat TV and hairdryer are all provided. The rooms overlooking the old town Porec are larger in size.
Bathrooms are of a good size and equipped with a rainforest shower as well as with a separate bath tub.
Hotel has two parkings: one is in the vicinity of the hotel and another one is about 1 km far from the hotel. Parking in the vicinity of the hotel has very few places available and it cost approx. 10 euros per day. For another parking, hotel Valamar Riviera offers a valet parking free of charge. All you need to do is to inform the reception about the time you would need your car, and they will deliver it upon request. The parking as well as valet service is free if charge.
Other facilities include a fine dining restaurant Spinnaker Porec with a nice terrace for dining al fresco, buffet restaurant with a really nice choice of food for breakfast and for a dinner, small fitness, a beauty center and a free Wi-Fi internet.
Worth mentioning is Valamar Riviera Hotel Beach. The beach is located on the island of St. Nicolas. It is a 5 minutes boat ride from the pier. There are two piers, one almost in front of Valamar Riviera Hotel, and the other pier, a 5 minutes’ walk from the hotel. Boats leave every ½ hour. On the beach, there are deck chairs, canopy beds and towels to rent. Fees apply.
Down side of this hotel is a noise from the nearby bars during the summer months and some noise of the garbage pick-up trucks in the morning.
