All Zadar photos featured in this post are brought to you by Ivan Coric, a freelance photographer and Zadar native. In my opinion, no other photographer captures and showcases Zadar, its landscapes and architecture, better than Ivan does. Since I really enjoy and admire his work, I wanted to feature his Zadar photos on my blog.
Wineries in Istria worth a visit
Wineries in Istria are awesome. If I remember them correctly. You know that a visit to the winery typically includes lots of wine-tasting. Wine-tasting could potentially affect my, otherwise good, judgement (you have been warned!). However from what I believe I have experienced on my visits to these wineries in Istria, I put them at the top of my list of wineries in Istria worth a visit.
Plitvice Lakes Croatia: Journey through photos
Today we finally visited Plitvice Lakes National Park, the UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most popular places in Croatia. We’ve got quite a story to tell about our visit to this natural wonder (let’s just say for now that we’ve cut our visit short).
Six things I love about Croatia beaches
I’ve been swimming at some of the best beaches in the Caribbean and Pacific. And I won’t lie to you, those beaches are fabulous! A long stretch of beautiful, soft sand, an exotic drink in hands, lapping waves, and palm trees. Hell yeah, these beaches are as good as it gets. And I’ll not even mention sandcastles.
Fall in love with Vis Croatia
We have yet to visit the island of Vis in Croatia. It’s on our ever-growing bucket list of places to visit in Croatia. To put us in the mood and give us a taste of the island, we’ve reached out to Xania and Craig of Wearactive. Originally from UK, they’ve been living on the island of Vis for eight years.
What to do in Croatia in spring
We’re celebrating the start of spring with this week’s Sunday Traveler. This is my favorite season. Spring usually arrives suddenly. I don’t know if you feel this way. One sunny day, after many grey winter days in Croatia, we wake up just to realize that the days are longer, that the trees are blooming, and the birds are back.
