They do not cost much, you can reuse them, and they do not take up too much space. One additional benefit (and, please, do not laugh at this) but sometimes I even use them to transport soft food, like pesto Genovese or caramelized onion spread from my favorite grocery shop in Milano. Ok, this happens just when I am traveling by plane with hand luggage only.

I like keeping my toothbrushing kit organized. This is the reason I have a separate travel case for it. It is safe to drink water from the tap in Croatia. And so it is in many destinations I visit on my travels. And my reasoning is not to pay for things we can have for free.
